Sugar and spice and everything nice
It looks like a compliment but it's not.
It's a life sentence that hides the salty, sour, sassy...the sexy, sultry, strength and...soul.
A life sentence that has you holding on so tightly
to what everyone else thinks,
that your anxiety is killing you.
A life sentence that keeps you spinning in guilt or resentment or exhaustion,
because *gasp* you don't dare express your own deep truth;
the boundaries that might hurt their feelings;
the self-care that you've convinced yourself is selfish.
Until one day, you realize you can't fully feel the pulse of your own truth anymore.
It's so "confusing" - wrapped up in your expected role, your validated identity, perceived expectations.
The NICE woman (aka the person more focused on pleasing others and being perceived as good) is a HIDER.
She is afraid of her own power.
And in so doing, she contorts it so it doesn't just hurt her (badly)
but it also negatively impacts others
(sorry, but someone needs to tell you).
Unraveling the TRUTH from the NICE is no small process, but let me tell you:
If it's freedom and true self-expression and clear clean relating that you seek, then it's absolutely worth it.
In this mini-workshop, we'll explore the not-so-nice side of NICENESS, and begin to unravel the ways this may be interfering with you having MORE of what you deeply desire.

Karen Schachter
I call myself a midwife to your soul.
I have degrees, certificates, trainings and almost 30-years of experience,
but my real gift is in seeing who you are and,
with skill, intuition and a little bit of magic,
helping guide you HOME to yourself so you can BE her fully.
I live in Costa Rica with 2 dogs, daily beach walks,
a coffee-addiction, and an obsession with the jungle.
My new favorite quote - and current life practice - is by Albert Einstein:
There are only 2 ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.
